Fundraisers close to our Harris hearts

During this past month, the Harris Creative team has been busy fundraising for two brilliant cancer charities: Macmillan Cancer Support and Cancer Research UK.

On Friday 7^th October, our team pulled together treats of all kinds to participate in the annual World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at our Leeds office. We caught up over hot drinks and various sweets, from doughnuts to cakes, buns to biscuits, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

We love hosting our Coffee Morning each year, and supporting a charity that does amazing work not only supporting people with cancer and their families at every stage, but providing support to employers, the healthcare workforce, and research about cancer care too.

More recently, on Friday 21^st, nine members of Harris, from various departments, came together to take part in Cancer Research UK’s Shine Night Walk in Leeds. We joined hundreds of fundraisers in the pouring rain to walk 10K around the city streets and had a blast doing so.

And more importantly, we reached and exceeded our fundraising goal, totalling £1,725, which will go towards vital research in beating cancer sooner. We’re thrilled to be able to raise this amount, and to see it fund such important work, with this cause being close to the hearts of many members of our team.
