As we approach the end of another year, we take a look back at the projects – and people- who have helped make 2023 a year to remember! Read on to find out more about what the Harris Creative teams have been up to, and some of our plans for the year ahead.

PR & Content – Faye, Liz and Amy

From delivering thought-leadership campaigns around the construction industry’s changing regulations to supporting the launch of new products and new initiatives, the work we have done this year has been varied to say the least! We’re particularly proud of the projects we have done with our long-term clients Senior Architectural Systems and Novus Property Solutions and we’ve hit the ground running with our newest clients CCF and OWA UK.

Faye, our head of PR, added “Looking ahead to 2024, we are planning an overhaul of the way we track press coverage and provide analytical reports to our clients. We’re also looking at new ways to maximise the effectiveness of our client’s owned and paid content streams  through integrated campaigns, as well as building on our relationships with the key construction press.”

Design – Lucy, Zoe and Daniella

This year we have welcomed Zoe and Daniella to our design team, and our latest recruits wasted no time in getting stuck in to deliver some outstanding assets for our clients.

As well as working on some great projects for Senior Architectural Systems, Arbordeck and Novus Property Solutions, the team has also taken on a variety of work for CCF covering everything from social media graphics, e-marketing, event support, sales collateral and animation projects. Lucy has also created several print design jobs this year, including a new suite of literature for Collard Group and a dedicated brochure to help our long-standing client Washroom Washroom break into the Dubai market.

With more creative campaigns in the pipeline for our clients in 2024, the design team is getting ready for what promises to be another exciting year!

Social Media – Estelle, Sarah and Gurj

Our social team has gone from strength-to-strength this year, with Gurj joining in early February and Sarah later in July. We’ve also gained new clients in OWA, CCF, and Novus Property Solutions.

From establishing OWA UK’s LinkedIn presence and supporting CCF with live posting at UK Construction Week, to picking up the Social Media Campaign of the Year Award for Cre8 Joinery at the PR Moment Awards North 2023, the team has had a busy – and successful – 2023.

Estelle, our social media executive, has commented, “We’re well underway with planning for 2024 and we’re taking time to reflect on what’s worked and why. There’s always lots going on the ever-changing world of social media so we’re also keeping a close eye on X (formerly Twitter).”

Web and digital – Caz and Richard

The web department at Harris has had a fantastic year, with the completion of many exciting projects. One standout success was the completion of the Dorplan website redesign. This overhaul not only significantly enhanced user experience but also better mirrors the professionalism and expansive scale of their company. We’re also pleased to be once again working with previous client Nautilus.

Looking ahead, we are set to build on the successful delivery of the new Kingfisher Louvres website which is our third project within the Building Product Design brand family, joining the ranks of Glidevale Protect and Passivent. The New Year will see us taking on another existing project, this time working on the parent site for Building Product Design which is scheduled for launch early next year.

SEO and PPC – Zeitzan

It’s been a fruitful year for our PPC and SEO department achieving brilliant results for our clients. Specifically, we have been busy supporting our client CCF in launching paid Google campaigns and maximising their effectiveness and performance. Testing and working with different types of campaigns from increasing brand awareness to lead generation, was the highlight of our PPC year.

Zeitzan, our PPC and SEO executive, said “I can detect that there’s a trend and an urge for businesses to use PPC and I am very pleased to see that our clients are benefiting from it. Also, I can’t wait to welcome and work with our new clients in 2024”.

It’s been a great year, with more highlights than we can fit into just one blog! We put our best foot forward in January with our full-team workshop from which we created our Harris Values. We then went on to expand the Harris family with new recruits across our specialist teams, and the welcome addition of Shabeena to the newly created role of project co-ordinator. We enjoyed some quality time together at our annual wellbeing day in September and we’re now looking forward to recharging our batteries over the festive break. We’d like to wish all our clients, colleagues and supplier partners a very merry Christmas and a wonderful 2024!
